I’ve only done two speed paints with it so far (finals week at school, y’know), but I really like it so far! It’s awesome drawing on what you’re looking at – it makes the drawing and painting process much quicker, because you make less errors compared to when you use a normal tablet. Doing lineart with it is lovely, for that same reason.

I don’t know if it’s just me, and it probably is, but there’s something about the Cintiq’s that makes it different from a normal computer monitor. It’s given me some eye strain, probably because I need to get used to it (and take breaks instead of doing a 3-hour sitting…).

Assigning custom shortcuts to the buttons on the side of the cintiq is really good too. But since you can’t assign every single shortcut, you might want to keep your keyboard nearby.

In a nutshell, yes, it’s totally worth it!

So, I finally got a button maker machine! I’ll be making a series of about 10 buttons of Ocarina of Time characters, and maybe of the other games too.

And I’d like you guys’s opinion! Which of these two do you like better – the light one with a color background, which would change depending on the character, or the brown one?
